Great news for Galston Village, mums! Hornsby Shire Council has just approved a plan to give the village a major makeover, making it an even better place for family to relax, dine, and enjoy. Here’s what’s coming up:

Better Walking and Cycling: New paths will make it easier to get around, smoother and easier for you to navigate with your pram or stroller.
New Bus Stop: A centrally located, sheltered bus stop for more convenience, making outings with little ones even easier.
Safety Upgrades: Improvements like traffic calming, angled parking, and a new pedestrian crossing to keep everyone safe.
More Greenery and Seating: Extra street trees, outdoor seating, and cozy gathering spots will make it a lovely place for you to relax while your kids play.

Mayor Philip Ruddock is excited about the changes, saying they’ll help keep Galston Village a welcoming and attractive place.

The Council’s draft plan received lots of positive feedback from the community. Construction is set to start in 2025, with funding already lined up.

Other Updates:

A new off-leash dog park is coming to Fagan Park, so your furry friends will have a great new space to play!
